Perfect Event is pleased to work with the lsbc brand, itself associated with various life science consulting activities in the UK and in the EU with a focus on Poland.  The owner of the brand is LSBC(London) Limited.

The LSBC(London) Limited with some 30 associates is directed Dr Roland Kozlowski who has over 30 years’ experience in the life science industry as an academic (Oxford), bio-entrepreneur, investor and government advisor (UK and Poland).  Over the last decade he has focused much of his effort on the Polish market and understands the Polish life science sector from the perspective of a Western Practitioner.  As part of his activity since 2011 he has managed the intellectual aspects of this conference now in its 10th edition.  Management of its practical aspects being entrusted to Perfect Event Sp. z o.o.: a Polish events business.

The conference is a boutique “C” level event limited to a maximum of 100 participants and is largely by invitation.  The agenda of the conference is built by Roland Kozlowski and focuses on issues topical for the given year.  Approximately half the speakers at the conference are drawn from the CE region and the other half globally (some previous agendas are shown on this web site).

In the past Dr Kozlowski has invited many top-level delegates from blue chip organisation such as Sofinnova, Forbion Quintiles GSK Pfizer AZ, and top flight biotech’s such as Ablynx.  Good quality CE region start-ups have in the past been asked to participate in a business pitch competition.

In the past press has not been invited to the conference to ensure open debate.  There is also no government sponsorship which ensures that there is no bias to the agenda.  lsbc therefore relies heavily on sponsorship and the generosity of commercial partners to ensure its viability.

The conference prides itself on high quality agenda, excellent networking opportunities in a convivial atmosphere in the Historic City of Krakow.  This year’s event follows a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic and Ukraine war.
